Swiss Style Ham and Cheese Croissants
2 x 250g Ready to bake croissant rolls (Jus roll)
2 Egg yolk
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Dried Tarragon or 1 tbsp fresh chopped
200g Grated cheese (I used 50g of smoked cheese on the show)
8 Slices of cured ham
Place the egg yolks into a bowl with the chopped tarragon and mustard.
Stir the mixture together before adding the grated cheese.
Open the cans of croissant dough and un roll one of the them.
Cover the dough with slices of cured sliced ham, then spread the cheese mixture evenly, making sure there is a little bit of cheese on all parts.
Lay the other sheet of croissant dough on top and cut into triangles.
Roll each triangle up into a croissant and place on a non stick baking tray.
Leave the croissants to prove for 35 minutes before baking in a pre heated oven 170c for 30 minutes or until golden and crisp.
