Pete's Best Bacon Bread Rolls
Bread Floury baps !!!
5g dried yeast
50ml tepid water
250g strong white flour
1 tsp caster sugar
1 egg beaten
Add the yeast to the tepid water and stir together in a mixing jug
In a mixing bowl add the flour, salt, butter and sugar.
Blend the dry ingredients together before add the milk and yeast mixture.
Stir together until a soft ball go dough forms in your hand.
Knead for 10-15 minutes, then return to the mixing bowl, cover and leave to prove for 1 hour.
Divide the dough into 4 equal portion and roll into balls.
Place the dough portions onto a non stick baking tray.
Dust with flour and leave to prove for 50 minutes or if you want poppy seed ones brush with the beaten egg and scatter over the seeds.
Bake in a pre heated oven 200c for 15 minutes.
Serve with treacle cured bacon and brown sauce or ketchup if you fancy!!
