Garlic Bread Crumb Topped Spaghetti 10 minutes to Cook

Ingredients

4 slices of leftover garlic bread chopped

2 tbsp Olive oil

1 tsp Salt and pepper for the breadcrumbs

400g Dried spaghetti (4 adults 250g 2 adults & 2 kids)

2 Cloves of garlic crushed and chopped

75g Grated Parmesan cheese

Parsley

Here’s how

Place the leftover garlic bread onto a basking tray and cook for 10 minutes at 170c or until crisp, then remove.

Cook the pasta in a large pan of salted boiling water for 9 minutes.

Meanwhile heat the olive oil in a large shallow pan.

Add the crushed garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until soft.

Chop the crisp garlic bread up into small pieces and put to one side until the pasta is cooked.

Take a ladle full of cooking water from the pasta and pour into the frying pan with the garlic.

This will create an emulsion sauce, the starch from the pasta water creates a creamy sauce.

When the pasta is cooked lift out with tongs and add to the sauce.

Stir together with the parsley and grated Parmesan.

Scatter in the garlic bread crumbs.

Season with plenty of black pepper and serve.
